Hello everyone, i've just bought an Eumigette 2 super 8 reflex zoom camera off ebay and can't seem to get it working. I believe it uses AA batteries but the battery case seems to be a bit rusty. could anybody give me a step by step guide to getting it working?

Hi! You know I'vew never heard of that camera before but you know it's probaly just like most super 8mm cameras so if the battery contacts are rusty first i'd sand them off a bit with some steel wool and it should work, then I'd give that seller a nice long NEGATIVE rating. Come to think of it, if there's rust on the battery contacts then it was probaly exposed to moisture for a long period of time which means that the inside mechanisms might also be rusted.

I bought all of my Super 8mm cameras off of Ebay & never had a problem but it's always a risk you know? Good luck.
